Panther Softball Announcements  Congratulations for All-District SelectionsCongratulations to Madelyn Metzger and Ayana Johnson for making the 2010 All-Cardinal District Team.
Madelyn was named to the First Team District for the Panthers. Maddie finished the year hitting .450, with a .516 OBP, 19 RBIs, and 15 Runs Scored. Ayana Johnson made the Honorable Mention team as a sophomore. She ended the year hitting .333, with 13 Runs and 8 RBIs. Congratulations to both girls for their outstanding seasons.  Senior NightSenior Night is Friday 5/14 at Potomac High School Softball Field. We will be honoring our seniors Priya Lall and Madelyn Metzger before they take the field with a game against Freedom High School

Ayana Johnson also had 3 hits and 3 runs to round out the big offesive day for Potomac. |

Devin Vaughan got the win for the Panthers going 5 innings and giving up only 2 earned runs. Madelyn Metzger had 4 hits and 6 RBIs while Cayla Smart added 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Potomac's record is now 4-7 and 1-5 in the district. |

Madelyn Metzger lead the way with three hits, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored for the Panthers. She also pitched 7 innings while striking out 5 batters. Also leading the way was Ayana Johnson who had 3 hits and scored three runs. Cayla Smart also had three hits for Potomac. The Panthers record is now 1-0. |
